Healing Starts in the Heart
|First of all it is blessing for all of us that you have found this message. What you are about to hear, you may resist, for it is the very nature of man and woman to do so. May I ask just one thing of you, that is please take in these words with an open heart, be kind and patient with yourself, and breathe. Before anything else, physical, emotional, mental, or in the outside world occurs something also occurs in the heart. The heart is far more involved in your life than just pumping blood, in fact it is so deeply intertwined in all aspects of your life that we need to take a step back and look into what role the heart is playing in any given situation. Many great healers will tell you healing often starts with forgiveness, forgiving ourselves, others, or situations can be the greatest step forward. It is common to hear people say that courage, love, faith, joy, forgiveness, pride, anger, sorrow, guilt, shame, depression all reside in the heart, and if true it should only further confirm the importance of the heart in healing. The good news is, it can all change today! Today is a perfect day, a day of completion, a day of new opportunity, new healings, miracles and blessings. Today is a day of choice. As our lives unfold on a rollercoaster of emotional, mental and physical ups and downs we must make thousands of choices everyday, the question is… “Do the choices we make represent love or not?” There are only two options and no matter how complicated the ego, the mind, the personality, the science, the imagination want to make it, in the end it all comes down to just two choices. One can spend hours pondering how this may not apply but it is a never ending circular argument that like the chicken or the egg just leads one away from the purpose of learning.
The simple easy to understand and apply law is “If you can become more light hearted, you will be happier, healthier, and greater in many aspects of your life.” Good deeds will purify the heart, make you feel lighter, happier, and accomplish more with a clear mind, positive intentions and the contribution of joy to those around you. Start by feeling into your own heart and feeling what you can do today to lighten your heart. Are there any selfless acts of kindness that can be done? Be conscious of your deeds, your judgements, the way you treat others and yourself, and increase in small increments these acts of kindness and love for yourself and others day by day. Be light on yourself, like planting a seed, the flower takes time to blossom, consider small steps, as that may represent the greatest opportunity for success. Your life and health are your painting what good and beautiful things can you add to it? Ask yourself today, be honest, kind, and forgiving to yourself, reflect on all of who you are, what side of the scale is your heart on? The healing potential from a change of heart could be miraculous.
